Weekday Getaway
A free block of time and beautiful weather presented a tempting opportunity for a quick escape today. I loaded Ringo in the FJ and we took a ride to Pointe Mouillee. We haven’t been here in a while and it felt like our visit was long overdue.
The allure of Pointe Mouillee is that it is so close but feels so far away. It was quiet today and we had the whole place to ourselves, adding to the sense of escape.
A mix of sunshine and clouds created the perfect setting for today’s photo of Ringo, who never disappoints as a traveling partner or model. Always ready to go and always camera ready, he’s a role model for the enjoyment of everyday life, and the perfect companion for a weekday getaway.
