Autumn Closing In
Cool and wet weather have accompanied fall’s arrival this year and I’m still hanging on to summer. As the leaves and landscape change, I’m reminded that fall is a nudge to wake up from summer’s delicious daydream and make things happen.
The seasonal change creates a sense of urgency to pursue my plans and projects while this brief window of moderate weather allows. This is especially important in Michigan where winter weather can bring momentum to a crashing halt.
It feels like there is suddenly so much to do and little time left to get it all done. I’m relishing this feeling of being in the right now and pursuing the dreams that were formed during summer’s spell. I’m just hoping for a few more sunny days so I can head into the new season with a full solar charge.
